Tillotts specialises in the development and manufacture of liquid filled, hardshell capsules. A wide range of materials can be filled including natural oil products, suspensions of drugs in oil and low melting point (<60 °C) waxes. It has been found that the absorption of poorly or erratically absorbed drugs can often be enhanced by formulating a solution or suspension in oil, giving a wide application to this dosage form.
